ioLight limited is recruiting dynamic entrepreneurial sales representatives.

The company is a UK startup founded in 2014 and a patent granted for the world’s first portable high-resolution digital microscope. The product produces images onto a tablet or phone with a resolution comparable with a lab microscope, yet it fits in a jacket pocket. The role

This is a unique opportunity to join the founders of a disruptive startup company and to help us build sales outside the UK market. You will work directly with the founders to identify target markets, select and qualify prospects and convert them to customers.

ioLight is currently selling to universities, environmental agencies, animal health companies, vets and labs. We have sold a thousand units globally and need your help to grow the business.

The person

You will be a self-starter, happy finding your own way in a fluid environment, under the guidance of the founders. You will be a great communicator, have a passion for science and an entrepreneurial spirit.

You will have a love of science and a broad understanding of the importance of microscopy to a very wide range of applications. At the same time, you will have strong commercial acumen, a hunger for success and the focus to close orders and move on.

You will have a proven track record of sales to universities and government agencies.
