The Magnificent Mobile Microscope Company invites you to invest in the ioLight funding round.

ioLight has developed and patented the world’s first portable high resolution microscope. All over the world, scientists are monitoring the impact of Climate Change. They go to the most remote fragile ecosystems and observe the smallest most vulnerable plants and animals. Laboratory microscopes are far to big to travel to remote locations and pocket microscopes are not powerful enough to see single cells.

The ioLight microscope is also a fantastic communication tool. Teachers, students and exhibition visitors can see single cells in detail without squinting through an eyepiece and getting a headache. The ioLight microscope fits in a jacket pocket and displays beautiful 1 micron resolution images of cells, algae and protozoa on any mobile phone or tablet. Images are simple to share using any professional or generic image sharing app, so collaborators anywhere on the planet can view images and videos from the microscope in real time.

ioLight has sold nearly 300 microscopes from the pilot batch to universities, vets and government agencies. The ioLight funding round seeks further investment to grow the global sales team and transfer to volume sales. The Magnificent Mobile Microscope has already travelled to The Amazon Rainforest, Kazakhstan, Antarctica and the Alaskan Wilderness. Now National Geographic® has filmed ioLight’s product at 5,300m on Mount Everest. It’s the highest altitude science on earth and ioLight is the only practical microscope for the job.
